Welcome to the Xioniximo website!
About us:
Xioniximo is taken from two Greek words, χιόνι (pronounced khioni) meaning snow and χιμώ (khimo) meaning to rush out, and is our kennel name. Greece holds a special memory for us as we married on the beautiful island of Santorini back in 2003 and is one of the reasons we decided on a Greek kennel name.
We have ten siberian huskies who live in the house with us and our three children. They are very much a part of our family and you can meet our pack and learn a little more about them here.
News & Events
We were very excited to welcome a new human addition to the pack in December! Little Autumn Olivia is settling in and growing fast. Because of this showing and rally plans have been a little scaled down lately. We have still managed to attend a few shows so far and will be doing one or two rallies later in the year. We have also held hug-a-husky events at Walmsley CE School to help much needed funds for the school, St Barnabus in July and at the Chill Factor in Manchester in August. Raising a little to help welfare.
We were very excited to take little Demon to crufts on Thursday 11th March! It was our first time there and we are really proud of Demon for qualifying. Thank you Britny Alfonzetti for the photos.
After Crufts we went down to Pembrey for the Hero Quest! It was a fantastic rally and we enjoyed ourselves. The rally itself raised money for the Help for Heroes charity and we managed to raise a little extra ourselves by asking for sponsorship to run in fancy dress. Finlay competed in the junior mushers event as batman, Phil managed to win the scooter class despite being dressed in the worst incredible hulk suit ever made and I was catwoman! Welfare news!
Laura is now officially the welfare photographer for SHCGB. Watch out for us at rallies and shows, your huskies could feature on welfare merchandise!

We offer a mobile dog grooming and walking service, all breeds are welcome. A free collection and drop off service is offered where your dog will be returned to you after clipping and bathing or if you prefer groomed in your own home. Our prices are very competitive and we hold full CRB clearance. A flexible dog walking service is also provided to help you provide much needed exercise and stimulation whether you are out a work or just need a little help.
